The ISEET Results

Final decision on IIT-JEE,AIEEE,ISEET is 

a) Joint Entrance Examination will 

constitute JEE-Main and Jee advance 

tests. 

b)JEE will be conducted from 2013 

c)JEE Will replace IIT JEE and AIEEE 

d)JEE Main and JEE Advanced 

examinations will be conducted on 

different dates(with a gap of atleast 

4-6 months) 

e)Only top 1,50,000 students in all 

categories, shortlisted from top 20 

percentile of 12th board and JEE Main 

scores will be eligible for JEE Advanced 

exam 

f)Only JEE Advanced will be used to 

create a shortlist for admission into IITs 

g)JEE Main will be conducted by CBSE 

h)JEE Advanced will be conducted by 

Joint Admission Board of IITs 

i)According to this year top 20 

percentile will be equivalent to 

78% in C.B.S.E 

65% in Utter Pradesh board 

78% in Tamil Nadu board 

j)Admission to the National Institutes of 

Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes 

of Information Technology (IIITs) will be 

based on the "main" exam score. A 

final decision on methodology of 

admission is pending. A meeting of 

representatives from the NITs is 

scheduled for July 4.
